Cherry Tree Farm Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Cherry Tree Farm Campsite! We aim to provide a relaxed, enjoyable, and safe experience for all our guests. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking. By making a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.

General Information

• Cherry Tree Farm Campsite is a family-friendly site welcoming families, couples, and small groups (up to six people per pitch).

• We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask guests to leave without a refund if site rules are not followed or if behaviour causes disruption to others.

• These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice.

Booking Policies

• Booking Requirements:

  • Minimum stays:

    • 2 nights (off-peak season).

    • 3 nights (peak season).

    • 4 nights (bank holiday weekends).

  • Each booking covers two people and one vehicle.

  • Maximum group size: 6 people. No multiple or linked bookings for larger groups.

• Deposits: A 50% deposit is required when booking.

• Balance Payment:

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 28 days before arrival.

  • Bookings made within 28 days of arrival require full payment upfront.

Cancellation Policy

• Within 72 Hours of Booking: Full refund.

• 28+ Days Before Arrival: 80% of the booking value refunded.

• 7–28 Days Before Arrival: 20% of the booking value refunded.

• Less Than 7 Days Before Arrival: No refund.
  Refunds are not provided for early departures or changes to the booking once the stay has started.

Arrival & Departure

• Check-In:

  • Pitches are available from 12:00 pm.

  • Latest check-in is at 8:00 pm. Please notify us if arriving late.

• Check-Out:

  • Pitches must be vacated by 11:00 am.

  • Vehicles must be moved to the car park if staying onsite beyond check-out time.

• Security Bond:

  • A refundable bond of £10 per adult (£20 per adult for bookings of more than two adults) is required at the time of booking.

  • Bonds are refunded upon departure if terms are followed and the pitch is left clean and undamaged.

Site Rules

• Noise:

  • Quiet time: from 10:30 pm

• Fires:

  • Only raised and enclosed fire pits or BBQs are permitted.

  • Fires must be extinguished by 10:30 pm.

• Pets:

  • Well-behaved dogs are welcome (maximum 2 per pitch) for £5 per dog per night.

  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up after.

  • We offer a designated dog-free field for those preferring a pet-free experience.

  • Please note Croyde Beach does not allow dogs 1st May - 30th September.

• Visitors:

  • All visitors must register at reception, and park in the designated area.

  • No visitors after 11:00 pm.

Facilities

• Showers & Toilets: Unisex facilities are available, including a disabled toilet.

• Washing-Up Stations: Two designated areas onsite.

• Device Charging: Power banks available for £5/day with a £25 refundable deposit.

• Ice Packs: Available for exchange with a donation to a local charity.

• Wetsuit Rinsing: Dedicated rinsing stations available. Showers are not to be used for rinsing wetsuits.

Important Dates

• Peak Season: 19th May – 1st June & 7th July – 1st September.

• Off-Peak Season: 1st May – 19th May & 1st September – 30th September.

• Closed: 20th–22nd June

  Bank Holidays:

  • Early May Bank Holiday: 5th May

  • Spring Bank Holiday: 26th May

  • Summer Bank Holiday: 25th August

Liability

• Cherry Tree Farm Campsite is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

• Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

• Guests are responsible for ensuring their property is secure during their stay.

Refunds

Refunds for cancellations are processed in accordance with the cancellation policy. Security bonds will not be refunded if terms are breached or the pitch is not vacated on time and in good condition.
