A family legacy,
a new chapter
Cherry Tree Farm has been a cornerstone of Croyde’s landscape for generations. Originally established by the Lang family, the farm has seen decades of sustainable farming, community care, and a deep respect for the land. From its early days producing crops and livestock to its evolution as a cherished campsite, Cherry Tree Farm has always been about connection—to nature, to people, and to a way of life that values simplicity and stewardship.
The Lang family’s legacy is woven into every hedge and pathway here. Over the years, they not only farmed the land but also gave generously to conservation efforts, gifting tracts of the surrounding countryside to the National Trust, including the iconic Blood Hills and the coastal cliffs at Putsborough. Their vision ensured the preservation of this breathtaking area for future generations.
A New Chapter
In 2024, the Briggs family stepped in to continue the story. Having lived in and loved North Devon for over 25 years, we’ve long admired Cherry Tree Farm’s place in the community and the landscape. We’re excited to build on its rich heritage while embracing a modern, sustainable approach to camping that reflects our own values: celebrating nature, fostering connection, and leaving things better than we found them.
We’re keeping what makes this place special—its peaceful atmosphere, breathtaking views, and warm sense of welcome—while making thoughtful upgrades to ensure Cherry Tree Farm remains a destination for generations to come.
We look forward to welcoming you!
